Machine washes and doesnt complete its programme

Control panel that is the programmable Logic control may have gone bad

It is very likely the heater is not working and the washing machine is waiting for water to heat up to go to the next stage.

starts ok then skips programmes lights flash then stops without finishing wont complete any programme

If you select a rinse and spin programme and it completes the cycle, then I would say that the heater element is probably faulty, because the programme will not advance until the water has reached the correct temperature.
If it does not complete the rinse and spin cycle, then it is likely to be the control module that is the problem.

If your machine will not start or complete the programme..

• The plug, the socket and the switch, if necessary, with another appliance.
  
• The fuse in the plug.
  
• That the door is closed.
  
• That a programme is accurately selected.

It is possible the heater element is not working, you need a meter to test it with, and make sure you have selected the correct programm for what you are washing as some programmes can take up to 3 hours to complete.

Simple in most cases its just the filter outlet has becopme full of day to day junk, debris and slime.
Slowly release the water by turning the handle to release the water. Ensure power is off.
Once water has been drained into a shallow tray you will be able to open the door.
Once the drum is empty, unscrew the handle completely to remove filter housing an clean out thoroughly.
replace and tighten up.
Turn on power and reset all programmes.
this should work, total cost about 15 minutes of your time.
If it doesnt work it may then be your pump, time to think about and engineer

hi without looking at it i would think that the control board behind the timer knob has broken down these can quite pricey so shop around before you buy one,hope this helps.

does it have a manual programme knob?if it does ,probably the internal contacts do not mesh so it stops at next step (programme)but the water pump keeps on making the noise.
try turning the knob by hand when machine stops before entering next programme cycle.if machine starts ,programme knob is the problem.

If I remember right the washer has err codes on it. Does it bring up anything?
