Same problem as JS Mohanraj above. Wifi and Bluetooth don't work even after tens of different drivers tried. Acer won't provide support for Win XP. Where do we go?

You load Vista or Win7 back on. These devices are not XP compatible.

Acer aspire one d257 bluetooht not working after reinstal win 7

I've encountered a situation on my acer aspire 3680 where in Windows 8 Prerelease, I had to download and install the proper video driver from the acer.com website to allow it to have full resolution. Maybe try this for the Bluetooth and video controller problem, if you can even see the screen in windows 7.

Aspire 5820t reinstalled win7 home prem 64bit, can't get Network Controller to work. Installed all drivers from http://www.acer.co.uk/ac/en/GB/content/drivers, but still won't work, therefore...

You should first check if in your Device Manager your Network Card is being recognized, and make sure there is no errors (a yellow triangle would be displayed). If it is there, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers.
You can also go into your BIOS setup when starting up the computer, and make sure it's enabled. If none of this works, to get your WIFI Fob working, you probably need to disable your Network Card first in the BIOS before your Fob will work.
Hope this helps.

I have just purchased an eMachine e350, I am having trouble connecting to wifi through the home router(it is on)...I am putting in the security key code but it is saying it is a mismatch...my fathers...

I understood your problem...first check your laptop WIFI is on/off....after switching it on it automatically search for WIFI connectivity arround you...

If your father's laptop find/access that WIFI device then you have problem in code authentication....best solution is that you should remove authentication check....before connecting ..

Second thing is that such a problem cause due to improper installation of of wirless broadcom drivers for your eMachine e350......so ultimately you should re-install wifi drivers from provided CD/DVD...

Restart your device it automatically detect hardware and functions properly...

Will Vista drivers of Acer aspire 5920 Compatible with window 7 .

Hi,

There would be a different set of drivers to be used for Windows 7.

The drivers for Win 7 can be download by going to:

http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/downloads_gd.html

On the page click on Options:

Notebook>Aspire>Aspire 5920> ten choose the OS as WIN 7 and you would get all the compatible drivers which you can download.
