You need to install the drivers for the Bluetooth and wireless card. Download the device drivers from the Acer WEB site. Makesure you select the model of your laptop the drivers you that require thatmatches the Windows version that is installed on your laptop. Use this link toget to the Acer support: - http://www.acersupport.com/drivers_download.aspx
I've encountered a situation on my acer aspire 3680 where in Windows 8 Prerelease, I had to download and install the proper video driver from the acer.com website to allow it to have full resolution. Maybe try this for the Bluetooth and video controller problem, if you can even see the screen in windows 7.
You should first check if in your Device Manager your Network Card is being recognized, and make sure there is no errors (a yellow triangle would be displayed). If it is there, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers.
You can also go into your BIOS setup when starting up the computer, and make sure it's enabled. If none of this works, to get your WIFI Fob working, you probably need to disable your Network Card first in the BIOS before your Fob will work.
Hope this helps.
I understood your problem...first check your laptop WIFI is on/off....after switching it on it automatically search for WIFI connectivity arround you...
If your father's laptop find/access that WIFI device then you have problem in code authentication....best solution is that you should remove authentication check....before connecting ..
Second thing is that such a problem cause due to improper installation of of wirless broadcom drivers for your eMachine e350......so ultimately you should re-install wifi drivers from provided CD/DVD...
Restart your device it automatically detect hardware and functions properly...
Thank you for giving me opportunity to solve your problem.
at the bottom part ur laptop model will be written check it is Written Atheros see sticker or Broadcom like BCMXXXX and then
uninstall the drivers completely from device manager and try to completely remove all instances in device manager for ur wireless card
and then restart ur machine when windows detect and ask u about the driver for the card give the location of the drivers folder as u donwloaded and un zipped them in a location on ur computer and then finish install if u are unable to do this simply go in device manager and if windows has already auto installed ur deivice with faulty driver right click the device and click update driver from list and then provide the location where ur drivers are
the bluetooth and wifi of your laptop is not working after you upgrade your system to windows xp this is due of driver problem you need to instal the updated driver/software of your bluetooth and wifi that is compatible for windows xp....
Please Check in device manager, is there any problem with the driver ?
if there is a problem with driver, try to download driver from www.acerpanam.com and install it.
if there isnot any problem, try to enable wireless from the switch (close to external audio port)
