I live in an apartment building with six units. Just had a bad snow storm here and my heat is not working. My thermostat (Honeywell CT3200) is set for 70 degrees but it's reading 59 degrees and not turning on the heat. The units in my building all seem to have heat? Could a pilot light for just my unit's furnace have gone out? Other ideas/solutions? Please advise.

Do you have an individual unit in your apartment? Try turning the t-stat down all the way and the emergency switch off. Wait 5 minutes then power on, t-stat up. More help available if needed but I need to know model of unit.

It is possible if your furnace has a pilot light. All newer furnace do not have pilot lights, they use a hot surface ignitor ( which could be bad ). It`s hard to say without more details about the furnace and what it is doing.

If you look closely at the installation manual page 6&7 it tells you settings to use for your type of system. If I'm not mistaken you will need to back out screw "b" 360°. Hope this helps!

I have a honeywell ct3200 with a trane xl 80 furnace. it will cycle on to the right temp, go off and cycle the furnace back on 30 seconds later. Is that normal? It is 32 degrees outside, set at 68

Hi, check page 22 in your manual, it says "Adjust the screws on the back of the thermostat as instructed on page 7." Your furnace is a 80% efficiency but is also a high efficiency 2 stage heating system so try adjusting screws A and B both ways and see which gives you the correct cycling.

Set the System switch to either Heat or Cool. Press the Hold Temp button. Use the Warmer/Cooler buttons to set temperature. Temps will stay until you either turn off the system switch or press Run Program.  Good luck.

Can't change temp setting. no response from soft touch buttons for warmer/cooler temp. changed batteries but no difference.

if the stat is in auto changeover from heat to cool you might need to lower the heat temperature setting before you can lower the cooling setting, these need to be 2 to 3 degrees apart and the stat will not let you over lap them.
