Hi,
If the unit keeps blowing the fuse means you have a shored parts on it.
See my tips by clicking http://www.fixya.com/support/r8053361-fuse_keeps_blowing. This is also applicable to your unit. The only thing added to check is the stepdown Transformer for short, also the output IC.
Hope it may help you.
Thanks for using fixya.

Sony receiver keeps blowing 5 amp fuses

You have shorted output transistors in the amp that need to be replaced.

How many amps is the fuse that is located on the back of the TV near the power cord. It says T5AL/125 or 250 v. f800

Something else is going on to cause the fuse to keep blowing. Sounds like you have an issue on your power supply in the unit. Also check the outlet that your plugging it in to. Good luck!

The radio will no turn on. we have all the wires connected the power cord is plugged in but when we press and or hold the mode button nothing happens. its a new radio that we are installing that was bought...

If it is a new radio first make sure your power wire is actually hot. Use a multi meter. Also you may have a blown fuse in the fuse panel. Check that. Make sure it is grounded as well. Improper ground will make it not power on as well. For this radio Blue = Remote that you run to your amp or power antenna. Insulate it if you are not using either. Black is Ground. Red = Your accessory wire and should only get 12 volts when the key is turned on (switched 12 volt source.) Yellow is your continuous power source. Hook this to your battery or other suitable continuous 12 volt power source. It also has a 5 amp fuse inline. Make sure it did not blow. Replace it to be absolutely sure. Use another 5 amp fuse. Never go higher. The other wires are for speaker hook up. If you do all this and still no power. You may have a faulty radio. Good luck.

Blowing fuses, went to radio shack and replaced fuse with a slow blow 5 amp 125 volt blew it again. Does this imply a problem with the system?

YES it does! There's an overload caused by some semi-conductor (hard to say what) that's acting like it was a piece of wire!
Hunt around the electronic parts, you might see a burnt or damaged part if your lucky.

Panasonic ct-32sl13g blowing fuse by power supply

You will need to remove the back of the TV. Don't worry, it's not that bad.

There are 4 screws across the top, one on each side, one right next to where the power cord goes into the back of the case, and the two more by all of the video connections **These are the most important to remove because they attach the main board to the back of the case.

Once you have remove the screws then the entire back of the set will slide off. If you look where the power cord attaches to the board you will see a small fuse. This is a 6.3 Amp 125 volt fuse. You can replace it with a 6.3 Amp 250 volt fuse from your local Radio Shack. A four pack costs between $3 and $5.

Make sure that you check that it works before putting it all back together. Check for any loose connection cables while you're back there. I found a few when I did this.

Good luck!

125 v 4 amp fuse keeps blowing

if you plugged a 125 volt tv in to a 220 volt outlet you more than likely fried alof of the componets in the tv. Putting a bigger fuse in there is only going to increase the risk of it catching on fire so i would not recomend that. you might replace the power supply and cross your fingers and hope that nothing else cooked when the 220 volts hit it

I can't find a 6.3 125v fuse

If you look on the board that the fuse sits on you will see printed it states 6amp 125 Volt / 3amp 250Volt. This means that you can use either one. I think that is why the fuse states E.6.3 125Volt... I think it means either 6 amp (125 Volt) or 3 amp (250 volt). I noticed on the back of a fuse package that I bought that it stated these were interchangable so I put two and two together.

Power up problem

try powering the unit right down by disconnecting from the mains supply. fire up after 5 mins and see what happens. There is a separate transfomer for the standby supply(small red light) An internal fuse may have failed or the thermal fuse inside the transformer. If fuses blow as sson as you fire up = output transistors hay be short circuit.
