Down load the free program @ openoffice.org You can create there and it will open on MS Office Al though MS office needs to be set to save in an older version to open MS files on Open Office. Or just go buy the program, Open office is free I have MS Office However I have turned Many of my friends and relatives on to Open office there are several other programs besides word there is an Excell and a Power Point style of programs also, I believe. I would use if had not already bought the real deal.

There are many options to view power point even if you don't have power point installed in your PC. There is a free software called "power point viewer". You can download it from here. This is free you can view power point presentation. But you won't be able to create and edit them

There are open source programs which is reliable and free. You can down load the whole office suite from here. You can view, create and edit power point files.

IBM offers free office tool suite Lotus Symphony. You can download it from here

It cannot be downloaded. You have to get the discs and buy a product key from Microsoft.

Microsoft will let you download a trail version from their site but after 25 uses, you either buy it or it quits.
A better solution is to use a free compatible version from www.OpenOffice.org or use the online free version from M$ at http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/web-apps/. You can set the default file types in OpenOffice to the standard Microsoft types, i.e. .doc, .xls, etc
Another alternative is to use Google Documents.

Click start button , then program...... then microsoft office ...., then go to microsoft office power point ,..... and to open your power point , click on the office button at left hand upper corner of your power point window, click on the open or new as the case may be , good luck
