I have a Samsung HT-TZ325 home surround system. For some reason something has gone wrong with the sound settings. I can hear the background sounds and music but the speach of the characters is really low and you can just about hear them speak. This is the same for my sky and blu rays. I have connected my sound system via a hdmi lead to the sky and use an optical lead for sound. Can you advise?

I think there is nothing wrong with your sound system ... u should first check the settings.. that how much volume level is set to the front left and front right speakers as well as centre speaker...
And in case everything is right..thn check the speakers cable are connected in right slot..... :-)

Samsung HT-TWZ312 surround sound probs

With the home theater system off, press the 0-1-3-5 buttons in that order on the home theater's remote control.

Power on the home theater system.

With the wireless module on, press the [ID SET] button on the back of the wireless module for five seconds.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

Hope this helps!

No sound thru surround sound system in TV Mode

Hi,
You need to connect your TV to the AUX connection in the back of your HT system. Then set your HT system on AUX 1 and wait about 5 seconds for the TV sound to come through. If it does not work on AUX 1, you may have to try on AUX 2 or AUX 3 settings on your HT system. Make sure the A/V cable you use is good and in working order and is a good quality cable.
Hope that helps, Gary

Surround Sound Speakers and AUX

You have the mode selector for the surround sound on the wrong switch setting. Look at the owners manual to see what setting you need for synthensized suround. Go to http://www.samsung.com if you need an owners manual. You will find it with a little bit of searching. Good Luck
