Dear Sir:

You will need to install the drivers for the sound card as you said that you have reinstalled the operating system.

Please contact your computer manufacturer for installing drivers.

You can also download and install the driver from the link below if your computer is gateway by selecting your computer model number.

or Please reply to me with the make and model number of your computer.

Please feel free to get back to me If you need any further
assistance.

Regards
Mohammed.

There is no audio driver

You can download the audio drivers for your computer from the manufacturer's WEB site.
I cannot give you the link to the manufacturer's WEB site because you have not provided the make and model of your computer.

My computer speakers are not working they are pluged up the volume is on not muted buy the computer says no device please help

some things to try.

1. check for viruses, spyware, malware, etc.
2. reinstall your drivers.
3. check your headphones jack and see if have sound there.
4. If all else fails replace your sound card or install one if the system has an integrated sound card on the mother board.

Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Computer powers on, no beep, monitor is blank

open the tower, on the mother board you will find the RAM card approx 6 inches long, take out the card and restart the comp, you should get the beeping sound and the mother board is fine, if no beep that indicates the motherboard has gone bad.
place the ram card properly into the same slot and then restart the computer. NOTE while putting your hand into the comp components always make sure that the pwr cord is pulled out or else you will get shock.
also check the cord at the back of the harddrive should be fixed properly. take it out and refix it at both ends . probable cause is there is some loose connection of the cord or the RAM.

I don't have any volume on my computer

Have you ever had sound?
is this a new computer?
If new, take it to the repair center.
Is your sound comping from speakers or the Monito or headset?
If you have had sound, use the SYSTEM RESTORE back to a date you had sound.
Keep me posted please.
