Your most likely culprit (since you still are able to get the auger to work) is probably the dispenser control board.
Also just double check the connections at the top of the freezer door under your hinge cover to make sure nothing came loose.

Is this a clicking or a knock/pop sound? The knock knock sound can sometimes be helped a little bit by tilting the refrigerant filter drier (located in the compressor compartment) to a horizontal position. Ask your technician to do this for you.

There is usually a button on the control panel to lock the the water and ice.  Since it is both this is the most likely cause.  If your controls are not locked the the control panel is probably lacking power somewhere and will need in depth troubleshooting.

Yes you can DIY. Take a butter knife and CAREFULLY pry the broken switch from the cabinet. Be careful not to scratch the plastic liner around the switch.
Remove the 2 wires, place them on the new switch and POP the new switch in place.
If this is a half-moon switch make sure it is installed in the correct direction.

Either the inlet valve is stuck or the icemaker solenoid is shored.

Most likely the first one.

How cold was it before, you fixed leak?, its got to reach a certain temp before it will activate.... what temp is it now? DOnt know what u did to fix leak.. is there anyway u might of bond up ice maker?
