It Depends On How much ram you are running now. More ram is Always A good Thing.
However, The Amount of Installable Ram Depends On the Operating System you are running.

Windows XP, Vista, and 7 32 bit (x86) systems only except up to 4 gigs of ram. (Sometimes 3 1/2)
Windows XP, Vista, and 7 64 bit (x64) Systems will except up to 16 gigs of ram. (Some Beyond that)
If you are Unsure which System you are running,
1. Click on the Start Menu
2.Right Click on my Computer
3.Doube Left Click on Properties

On the Main Properties Page it should display
1. Which operating System you are running and Which bit it is (eiter 32 or 64)
2. How Much Memory (RAM) you are currently Running
3 and What Proccessor is Installed in your computer

Can I add more RAM to my Averatec All-In=One A2?

Hey Nella Coffey

Unfortunately, more RAM cannot be installed due the limit of Slots available. However, you may be able to upgrade the current RAM modules and replace them. It appears it has 2048mb (2GB) of RAM which is possible split into two 1GB sticks. You "may" be able to upgrade to 4GB (split into two 2GB sticks). This is the current set up for the computer: 2048MB (4096MB max) SDRAM ' Memory Slots available for Upgrade: 0 ' Maximum RAM per available slot: 2048MB

I have a Gateway zx4351. Can I upgrade to a dedicated video card from my GeForce 9200?

It is possible... Yes.

Is it worth it... Maybe the ram upgrade to 8GB is worth the money...

Also, some all in one computers are very hard to even figure out how to open. You better make sure you can do it before you try. You also might want to check if opening the case voids your warranty too.

Hi, my Asus a8m has 512 mb of ram. I'm considering buying a macbook, but wondering if it would be worth upgrading to 1 or 2 mb of ram and having a professional 'clean out' my asus. Would it be worth it?...

max supported memory is 2GB (2x1GB sticks replacing your current memory). Yes, it'd be worth it to add more memory of you were keeping the machine, otherwise restore it to original configuration and sell it "as is". Don't get a professional, just used your ASUSes restore option to set it back to factory configuration.

I want to upgrade my PC's RAM from 128 to 512 MB Is is possible to add only single RAM or two 256 MB RAM?

Depending on your mobo, you can do either, add one stick of 512MB or two sticks of 256MB. If you're sure you get matching sticks if your mobo is DDR capable.

Need To Upgrade Or Somehow Add A New Graphics Card

There is a way, yes, but it requires a few tools and no fear as you rip into the laptop case. I could explain this in detail but I'll leave you with this tutorial on the 'HOW-TO' side of things to browse at your leasure:

http://www.pcworld.com/article/148909/upgrading_your_laptops_graphics_card.html

However, upgrading the RAM will improve speed (if that's what you're really going for). Otherwise, adding a more powerful card may not increase your screen resolution but can add more kick to your gaming experience.

If you're just looking for a little more speed with higher resolution, I'd upgrade the RAM a bit and purchase an external flat screen 1080P 22" monitor that'll plug right into the back of the laptop. It will save you the frustration of possibly damaging the internals of your pc and the disappointment when you realize that the increase in performance isn't worth the risks/effort involved in switching out the cards.

Upgrade for acer aspire 4315

Hi, best and fastest way to increase your laptop speed is upgrading RAM to 4 Gigs, using 2x2Gb RAM modules like this one (UK seller).
Adding a bigger hard drive won't increase laptop speed, but will give you more space to store your files.
Another way to speed up a computer is using CPU overclocking, but this operation, good on old computers, is not worth on a computer with new CPU like yours.
On you tube also some user posted videos on how to upgrade chips on motherboard of old Acer aspire, but I suggest not trying this, as risk to destroy laptop is very high, and it is generally not worth.
Better to stick with traditional upgrades.
