A swintec 2600 is making a beeping noise and it doesn't work, what can I do?

See if it has a 'SubScript' setting in the manual. It is exactly that and is used for typing technical documents. It puts text in a lower register to normal typing.

Or it needs cleaning and servicing.

the long silver rod down inside your machine is sticky you need to lube it with some light machine oil then slide the carrage back and forth and clean the rod then reoil it again. this should take care of you issue.

You most likely need a new keyboard contact strip or at least a keyboard tear down and cleaning.

I believe the swintec is identical to a Nakajima model. Go to NADIST.COM, click on current models, you will find a manual there.

Look for debris in the area left of the printhead, anything that stops it from going all the way to the side frame.

Try some WD40 on the silver shafts that the carrier slides on they do get very gummy.

Check the printwheel for bent or broken spokes and check in that area for debris.
