What causes red led on starting?

Remove Power Cord then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds, then put the cord back in and try to start it.

When you press the Power Button are you hearing the fans run, the disk drive running, the cd drive click and the light on it comes on for a second or two?

Anything shows up on the LCD Screen?

If you press the power button and absolutely nothing is happening then you most likely have a bad power supply.

If you press the power button and you start hearing beep sounds or blinking lights in a continuous pattern (ex. 1 long followed by 2 short) then you have a motherboard issue. Those beep sounds and blinking lights tells the technician what is going on with the computer.

I don't think it is a lifter , it sounds more like an electric clicking that comes and goes. I replaced the condenser and the contact / points , It stil clicks losing power everytime the clicking...

Not likely, if they were clicking, you probably wouldn't be able to start the car. Next time it starts clicking use a dowel rod or even a screw driver. Put it to your ear and touch it to the engine to where you might think the clicking is coming from, the noise will be magnified somewhat, the closer you get to it the louder it becomes. Just be careful if you have long hair around the belts. If it is the lifter, put about a half of a pint of transmission fluid in the engine. This will clean up the lifters and everything else in the engine. If your ready for an oil change put the whole quart in and run the engine for 20 to 30 minutes This really cleans it. then change your oil

Start button does not work on our Asko t720 dryer

if you get a light on the main power switch, then it might be overheat cut-off switch wich has been activated. This is located outside on the back of the machine. a rubber button aprox in the middle, you must push this, and hear a 'click'. it might be a solution.

Kenmore 970 C81062 10 Electric Dyer WILL NOT

It sounds like the drum may be stuck. Turn the dryer on with the door open, just keep the button pushed. Then try to turn the drum by hand, and see if it will start to turn.

Hp pavilion s3015 goes to sleep at startup and does not recover

Shut down the PC by manually powering it off by holding the power button in until it is off. Start the PC. Does it boot correctly? If so, turn off all the Vista power modes.

Click on Start and in the "Start Search" block type "Power". Click on "Power Options" which should show up above the Start Search area. Put the dot in "High Performance" then click on Change Plan Settings, Change Advanced Power Settings, Click on Power Buttons and Lid, Start Menu Power Button, Click on "sleep" to reveal the other settings - select "Shut Down", then "Apply" then "OK". Close all open windows and shut down the PC using the Start button. Note the power button icon is now RED not amber as before.

Run the PC in this mode and see if the same problem occurs. If so, you have a different problem.

Dyer was grinding, then won't run

Sounds to me like you motor has froze up. Is there any smell coming from the dryer? The fuse would not cause this. A fuse would make the dryer do nothing when you hit the start button.
