No sound on my Samsung SyncMaster 930MP All drivers are updated

I would make sure my video drivers adapters are up to date. Use windows update to automatically set the proper driver to the display and to your video adapter.

you should find drivers at samsung.com they even have a automatic driver update th at really works! just click on the update bar and in a few seconds you have the latest driver.

the generic drivers should be sufficient. Is there a problem that the monitor isn't working with the PC?
Have you run the microsoft updates? Start, All Programs, Microsoft Update (or windows update). Select Custom. And make sure you get all the updates and service packs.

Low the resolution on the machine and see if you have the same results. Update the Graphic card drivers if you can.

Sounds like your driver doesn't support the optimum mode.

If you can tell your monitor manufacturers name and model no i can let you know about it. Anyhow the above information will help you.

First, try updating the ATI drivers. The DVI connection transfers information about screen state back and forth (it's a full two-way connection). If there's some bug in how the SyncMaster and ATI card do this communication (which sounds like the problem) then hopefully the newer drivers will fix it. Otherwise try it out on a RGB cable.
