How to change your keyboard to french keyboard AZERTY or vice-versa?

Hello friends!
Sometimes we get laptop gifts from our relatives from abroad but the keys are AZERTY but types in as a QWERTY.

Well, go to control panel / Region & Language/ keyboards & languages(Tab)/ Change keyboards / Add (button) / choose french language /
You may need to expand to choose etc
Apply changes/ select the US keyboard to remove, apply changes & Restart
That's it!

Does somewhone know how to change quertz to azerty

Hello,

Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Regional and Language Options.

Click the Keyboards and Languages tab, and then click Change keyboards.

Under Installed services, click Add.

Double-click a language that includes (France), (Belgium), or (Luxembourg) as part of the language's name.

Under Keyboard, select an AZERTY keyboard layout.

Note

Not all of the AZERTY keyboard layouts are labeled as AZERTY. To verify if a keyboard layout is AZERTY, select the keyboard, and then click Preview.

Hi i buyed a acer m900 QWERT with ROM and fisical keyboard in AZERT, i had instaled the ROM english, now i have a problem with the keyboard, because i'm writhing with a fisical AZERT keyboard and a QWERT...

Step 1: Go to the Start button and open Control Panel
Step 2: Choose the option "Clock, Language and Region"
Step 3: Select "Regional and Language Options" and in the "Installed Services" section, click "Add"
Step 4: If your keyboard is set to (AZERTY) change it to English US/UK and if your keyboard is set to an English language (QWERTY), change the language to (AZERTY).
Step 5: In the "Keyboard" section, choose "QWERTY" or "AZERTY" and apply the changes by clicking "OK"

My Acer Aspire 7720G doesn't have a 'scrn prnt' key. It was bought in France and has a French keyboard, but I can see no key that could correspond. How can I take a screenshot?

I'm not sure of which French keyboard you have, The Azerty is from Belgium and is used by the French, there is another that French Canadians use, it is a modified Qwerty. The Azerty board has the key "Syst" on it and this key is sometimes used as a screen print when used with a cimbination key strike. I am unsure if the combination uses the shift key, the Fn key or the Alt Gr key. If your keyboard has a menu key, this also may bring up a keystroke guide to use.

Asus ee PC 900 keyboard

Please don't multi post the same problem.

Your keyboard will obviously show the wrong thing still but if you go into settings, personalization, keyboard layout you can then change the layout.

I'm afraid I don't think that you can buy a new azerty keyboard separately as an eee pc spare part. Maybe you can if you contact asus.

Hope this helps,

Mowcius

Asus keyboard QWETZ to AZERTY

You will have to cahnge out the keyboard in order to do this. The keyboard will most likely work fine, but it's also possible that you may have to do a bios flash in order for the machine to recognize the new keyboard.
