I am installing Roxio Easy Creator 7 on a notebook with a Windows 7 Starter operating system, but the notebook cannot launch the Drag-to-Disc component and the software does not work. Is there any driver updade available for compatibility with Windows 7?
Thanks for y/assistance

Based on the Microsoft Website http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-7/en-us/Search.aspx?l=en-us&type=Software&s=roxio%20creator%202011
Roxio Creator Pro 2011 is compatible with windows 7 so all you need to do is call Roxio and check if there is a discount for the Pro version since you already have the Creator 2011 and upgrade to Roxio Creator Pro 2011.
You can call this number: 877-793-7471 (North America only)
Roxio 9, Roxio Creator 9 and Roxio Creator 10 are different animals. Roxio 9 is 3 years old +. It likely will not handle 64bit or Windows 7. Roxio Creater 9 is not listed as compatible with Windows 7
The following are from the Roxio site: The following products have been designed to be Window 7 compatible (as of January 2010):
Roxio Creator 2010
Roxio Creator 2010 Plus
Roxio Creator 2010 Special Edition
Roxio Creator 2010 PRO
Roxio Easy LP to MP3
Roxio Burn
Roxio CinePlayer BD
The following products have been UPDATED to be Windows 7 compatible (as of January 2010):
uninstall it or if you cant start your computer reload windows from disc. media creator may be too "big" for your system. pentium 4 min.required,i should think no easy way out if its crashing your computer
Easy Media Creator 7 is not supported on Vista. Easy Media Creator 9 and above are only supported. Anything lower may be able to go onto Vista, but Tech Support is not going to be able to assist you if you have problems.
1. Try to launch Creator Classic to see if it can repair the engine files. a. Double click on the "Roxio Easy Media Creator Home" icon. b. Click "Creator Classic" under the "Applications" section. c. The Windows installer should launch and ask you to insert your installation disc
Try this and see how it works, if it does not, contact me and give me more details
I believe in Creator 6 the default install does not include the drag-to-disc feature (who knows why). Reinstall the software but choose Custom Install so that you can select everything/anything that you want.
