When LED lights are plugged in and the clapper is off - some of the lights still glow - not as bright as when on, but still appears as if power is seeping to them (just a little). Help - really wanted to use this scenario.

There's nothing wrong with your Clapper. LED's have very low current draw - under that which is required by the Clapper to function. You can add a small nightlight to your lights which will up the draw for the Clapper to work properly.

SOURCE: My Clapper Plus works fine, except that when it is

Hi,

You obviously have a faulty Clapper. They are supposed to work just like a switch...ON or OFF. If you are getting dim lights, it is bad. Take it back where you got it or call the company.

Thanks for using Fixya.

ELEMENT LED TV will not turn on

You have to check the power supply of the tv. Try to replace it then only you will be able to identify the fault. Is it the power supply or the motherboard

I plugged a heating system into my clapper and now it is not working. The lights on the clapper don't go on when I clap. I think it glitches out but don't know how to fix it and now I'm really upset. What...

Clappers are only designed to manage less than 500 watts. Heaters are typically much more...greater than 900 watts. You likely burned it out and will need to send it in for replacement. good luck

I have a very old SL Waber PowerHouse 250 that I brought out of storage. I bought an after-market battery. After plugging it all back together, and plugging it in, I find that the LED does not light. No...

Sounds more like a problem in the UPS than the battery. If you don't have a voltmeter or a friend who has one (should read 12 volts), try connecting the battery to a 12v car light globe (brake or turn indicator globe). The globe should glow brightly and get warm. If so, the battery is fine.

My Clapper Plus works fine, except that when it is off, some current still leaks through. I have Christmas tree lights plugged into it. When the Clapper Plus is off, the lights are dim, but are still on.

Clapper plus

Sliding the switch down to the HOME (LO) position will put the Clapper Plus into the low sensitivity mode. This is helpful if there is a lot of external noise in the room. By placing the switch in the HOME (HI) position it will put the Clapper Plus into the high sensitivity mode for quiet clappers or if you are far away from the Clapper. In the AWAY mode appliances will turn on with the detection of any sound but will only stay on for 10 minutes.
