My 2001 passport check engine light was diagnoised by a local parts store as oxyge sensor, now i find out that there's more than one (1) How do i know which one to replace or do i just replace them all or should the diagnostic code tell me.can you give me the code#

There is a fair amount of problems with the vehicle speed sensors that can cause the light to flash but you will need to check codes to confirm. You can have codes checked for free at your local parts store.

You need to clear the check engine light with a scanner. If you clear it and light comes back on check for a new code number. If you bought your parts locally the parts store should scan/clear your codes for free.

There are a vast arraqy of possible causes. You need to go to the local parts store and have a code scanner read it. With the DTC code it will be much easier to help you narrow down the problem. Also, there is no engine sensor. The light just comes on to let you know there is a problem.

HI. This will require you to have the engine CPU scanned for trouble code's. This can only be administered with the assistance of a diagnostic computer scan tool. You can purchase this tool at your local auto parts store, or you can just have the scan ran at your local auto zone parts store, free of charge. Once the diagnostic scan is administered, you will be able to isolate the issues that have caused the check engine light to illuminate.

This scan tool will display a print out code and the location of the issue, on the engine, as well. There are Many issues that will cause the engine light to illuminate, but the most common cause will be a failed monitoring sensor, or sensor harness failure(separated power wire, or ground).

blinking light means engine is misfiring. continuing to drive will severely damage the engine. The O2 should not be related to your engine misfiring
