My television turns on for about 2 minutes and then all of a sudden it turns off. The green LED light blinks for about 30 seconds and the televsion turns on again. The image comes back for about 2 minutes, it then turns off again and the green light blinks for 30 seconds. It keeps repeating. What is wrong with the television?

check the lamp first to see if intact or shattered.

• Five blinks - AKB circuit (automatic kine bias), the timer/standby indicator blinks for about 30 seconds then goes to the self-diagnosis function. Something is wrong with the video. Check video out, Q705, 732, 761 and other components on the C board, also check Q218, 219, 220 on the A board. In addition, unit could be in IK blanking, try turning up screen A2 slightly.

None TV is powered off. Normal operation.

Green TV is powered on. Normal operation.

Green 1. TV just plugged into AC outlet.

Wait until blinking stops before turning on (approximately 1

minute). Normal operation.

2. AC just restored after power failure.

3. TV Rebooting after System Reset was

used.

Starts to blink 30 seconds after turning off TV. TV can be turned

on before blinking starts or after blinking stops, but not while the

MY philips tv model number 55PL9773/17 WAS TURNING OFF THE SCREEN AND LEAVING THE AUDIO ON FOR ONE MINUTE. THEN THE YELLOW LIGHT STAYED ON. THEN THE LIGHT TURNED OFF. thEN I TURNED ON WITH THE REMOTE AND THE YELLOW LIGHT TURNED ON AND A FEW SECONDS LATER CHANGED TO THE GREEN LIGHT AND THE TV TURNED ON. AFTER A FEW MINUTES, BETWEEN 10 AND 30 IT DID THE SAME THING. NOW IT IS OFF WITH A BLINKING RED LIGHT PERMANENTLY ON. TO TURN IT OFF I HAVE TO UNPLUG IT FROM THE WALL. I REPLACE THE LAMP A FEW WEEKS AGO AND IT IS FINE.

I have the same TV and the error light code on my set is 22

The DM is fine if the led isnt blinking. Your set is going into protective shutdown. Try pressing the menu and the device/input buttons on the set both in together for 5 seconds to see if the set will blink a series of blinks pause then blink another series of blinks. Such as 2 blinks pause then 2 blinks, Then let me know what the blinks were and I will assist you with whats wrong

Have you tried to hold the menu and input/device buttons on the front panel in together for 5 seconds to see if it will blink a two digit error code? Try that then let me know the code that the led blinked

The $1200 was for the lcd engine not the lamp. You should change the lamp. The buzz is the power supply trying to light the lamp.
