The
fax element of the Printer contains a memory feature for storing
faxes in the event of a printing problem. This feature is useful for
protecting yourself against missing faxes if your printer runs out of
paper. In order to retrieve missed faxes, the feature must be
switched on when the faxes arrive. You can reprint faxes stored in
the device's memory from the main control panel. You should allow
approximately 5 minutes for this task, or longer if many faxes are
stored in the memory.
Press
the "Setup" button on the front of the printer.
Select
"Tools," then "Reprint Faxes From Memory."
Press
"Cancel" to stop printing. Faxes are printed in reverse
order; the most recent fax is the last to print.
Instructions:
Load paper in the input
tray.
Usually, faxes are
temporarily sent to the printer's memory when one of the cartridges' ink level
is not substantial for printing. You are advised to replace the cartridge/s, *without
navigating away from the message "fax sent to memory", by opening
the printer cover and replacing the low-ink cartridge/s. After the new
cartridge/s is installed, close the printer cover and press OK button to let
printer print the fax stored in the memory.
* Make sure not to navigate away from the "fax sent to memory" message. You will lose the fax-in-memory data once you turn off the printer or navigate away from the message.
