Evga 9600 GT Making Weird noise..

My new EVGA Geforce 9600 Gt its an amazing card, i can't lie.


but when i turn my computer on, it makes this high pitch ringing noise, i put 2 fans in their, and its still at about 40c...

do you guys know about this problem..


and i would like to know, how do you overclock your graphics card?

thanks guys.

oh and i re positioned the card and its still making that anoying noise..

    yes i have also got the same problem, when I turn on my pc , the 9600's fan speed up.its making too much noise.when i stop the fan with finger, all the noise stops, i've also purchased a new powersupply which is quiet.i don tknow what to do with the 9600 gt card

Its caused primarily by the inductors and occasionally by noisy capacitors.
Because of natural manufacturing variations ,some inductor coils vibrate inside the component package.
This is normal behavior and has no effect on performance

that beep (1 long and 2 short) indicated your ram has problem, from your suggestion i can know that your ram was died, change your ram with new one it will solve your problem

Monitor wont work

You were not very clear with your question. If you mean you have disabled your onboard video, then installed the new video card and get nothing then the card is not compatible with your system OR you got a bad card. If you mean you simply installed the card, turn on your computer and get nothing until you move your monitor plug back to the original port (without turning off the computer) then you must disable your onboard video by going into your BIOS settings. Follow the instructions that came with your video card or your computer to do that. Usually you get in by pressing delete or F2 while the computer boots.

Black screen no signal

replace the graphics card, ours was going black here and there the last few months then finally it didn't work at all, we just replaced it today and the new graphics card (ati) works fine.
