Will not read new photos on my camera but has read others before

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.

Cannot get pictures to import from camera to computer

Blame Microsoft updates. Now, get yourself a card reader and end all your download problems.

I have a Fuji F30 Camera. When I try to import the pictures on to my system, it says "insufficient Disk Capacity". I have over 700 MB available. It imports the first two pictures, then gives me this error....

Are you saying the hard drive on your system is so full, you only have 700MB left? That's barely how much your system needs to carry on daily activities. That's why it won't let you download any more.

I know how to put pics from camera to computer. But if I havr 700 pictures how can I choose two or three pictures without having to sift through all those picturee?

This is my best solution for your problem. Why don't you take all the pictures off the camera and put them on your computer once. If you use a program like Picasa (free from google) You can set the program to exclude pictures you have already downloaded to your pc, so it will only import the newer pictures you have taken. Excludes older ones that have already been imported to your PC.

Or

You could format your Camera card once you have all the pictures on your computer and then whenever you take new pictures, just hook it up to the PC and dump them to the hard drive in another folder.

Keep it simple.
