I've heard of this before and the only solution I have found that helps people is to update your video card/graphics chip. For windows vista and 7 there is a link here.You can also use a program like "driver genius" or something. It will scan your PC, find all the drivers you have, check the internet for newer versions and download and install them for you. Once you update your video card, ;et me know if that helped. Did some googling and found out that you might have too old graphics card. Also try updating your drivers.

Are the video files the same format ?

try download n install latest driver..

Here is something you can try for now:
Many games provide an option to be started in "window"-mode instead of fullscreen.
Open a terminal, cd to the directory where the game is installed and start it from there, but append "--help" behind the command name (or "-h" if that didn't work)! Keep an eye open for an option that looks as if it starts the game in window-mode.
