Have a comfort zone inferred heater that the display comes on but won't heat up. When I try and turn up temperature I get a AO5 code. What does this mean?

Make sure the unit is clean. Especially, the blower wheel. If that doesn't resolve your error code then follow these instructions.
http://screencast.com/t/RoXS239ndAhF
Look that over please, you can clean the blower wheel at the red arrow, jumper the two switches at the blue arrows as *brief tests only* just to see if the unit runs and begins to heat with the jumpers in place.
If it runs, replace the item that failed open.
If it does not run, the control module, Item 5 marked with green is most likely bad and needs to be replaced.

I have a Comfort Zone CZ1500W showing an AO5 error code. I have 9 ohms across each element. The fan thermostat reads open. When I bypass it the fan runs, but no heat. The element thermostat reads

Everytime I turn on the CZ heater, the display reads A05 and then it goes away when i set the temp. As far as I can see and feel, I'm not experiencing any issues with the heating, fan, or thermostat or the extension cord running hot. I'm concerned that something could be wrong or unsafe, with Comfort Zone filing for Chapter 7, anyone know who is offering support or a number I can contact?

My comfort zone infrared hearter has a display message of A05 and will not run, what does that mean? How can I fix it?

Hi. I have the Comfort zone 1500 (cz 1500) and just ran into this AO5 problem. Turns out the thermostat was set lower than the actual room temperature. I just turned up the heater temp and it kicked right on. Hope this helps!

Comfortzone heater displaying error message doFL.

According to the call line, hold down the up, down and enter buttons all at the same time and it should clear it. I took mine back and had it replaced so I never had a chance to try this.
