On booting it shows mesage" boot manager

Hello prathames830, for the CPU to: Find the OS or Boot Manager !

Follow these instructions
To get the Computer to "Boot into the 'OS,' and Loading Windows."

  • Restart the Computer
  • Next, just before the computer show the "Promt Window!"
  • Press the {F12} button.
  • This will open the "Boot Menu:" [Priority Boot Sequence] window.
  • There will be a "list" of (Devices), Optical Drive / CD, SATA / HardDisk Drive, or USB...
  • I do not know the "Configuration of your Operating System" or the Drive: that "holds the Boot [NTLDR] files.
  • It may also hold the "Master Boot Record" or Boot.ini file?
  • So, what you need to do is give the Drives a "Priority Boot Sequence.
  • Meaning: You will 'place' the Drives in the 'order' of Bootup [First] listings.
  • You will use the {Arrow buttons} to 'move the "Drives."
  • More than 'likely' it will be the (*Optical Drive / SATA or Hard Disk Drive}.
  • Try each, and hopefully the Computer will make it to "Windows," and you can "Login!"

If there is anything else you need help with?

"Write a 'comment': I'll be here to assist you!"

"Best Regards"

Hello, my screen shows

This happens since you are using pirated version of windows. In order to avoid this follow the below steps

1. Before doing anything serious try restoring your system. If the problem is occurring after the Windows Update then System Restore will surely help.
2. But if it does not then do try this, launch Windows Task Manager.
3. Locate the process “wgatray.exe” and end it.
4. Log in into the Safe Mode and delete the file WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32
5. Also delete the WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32\dllcache
6. Type regedit in Run to open Registry Editor, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify key.
7. Delete the folder WgaLogon and all of its contents.
8. Restart the PC normally.

Our computer has had a problem which started with the screen turning into power save mode. Computer has been away and we are told it works perfectly now but when we plug in the screen starts up with LG but...

Have you tried another monitor on the computer to see if the computer is working? When you turn the computer on, do you hear the sounds of normal startup (usually a beep from the computer, then hard drive activity with blinking lights on the front panel, and finally the Windows startup sound through your speakers)? If you do, the monitor may have internal problems, there might be a broken wire in the cable from the monitor to the computer, or a bent pin in the plug at the end of the cable. If the monitor turns out to be the problem, just replace it. It's tough to find anyone to do monitor repairs, and the low cost of LCD monitors today makes it uneconomical to repair them anyway.

But if your computer is still having problems starting up, the monitor will come on, show you that LG logo and then blank out. It's not actually turning off. This isn't happening before anything starts; it's because nothing is starting. The computer's not booting up and there's nothing for the monitor to display. If the computer still at fault, contact whoever it went to for repair. Find out what they did and let them know it's still not right.

ope this helps you straighten things out. Thanks for using Fixya!

When i turn my laptop on it goes through the start up process however when complete it just shows a blue screen with the windows logo, i cant access anything because there is no files, menus, nothing at...

its a little problem without the windows disk but try this steps.

Turn on the computer-while booting press the F8 key until you have an option to choose safemode.
then choose safemode, once on the safemode, if you have install somoething on your computer, try to uninstall it, if not then on the safemode try to back up your files.Scan for viruses and spyware.

If this may not work then I suggest you get a windows setup disk.

Lap top black out

Hi this is the way how to examine what's wrong with your LCD monitors. After you turned it on and the screen blacked out, you have to check that if you can see the image on the screen or not by shining a flashlight into the screen, not directly but find the best angle to the screen and take a look very closely. If you can see the icons or any image, there will be a minor problem. This is because of the lamps inside screen. Some of them were broken and it is very easy to replace. If you cannot see anything on the screen, there'll be some problems with inverter board. If you have soldering tool and want to fix it by yourself, check the caps first. It may cause this problem. Some caps might show leaking or burn spot on the board because of too high temp. If you don't have soldering tool, you better go get a technician to do so. Hope this help!! If anything I can help you with, feel free to let me know.
Thank you,
Tan
