I have a presario v2000, when I turn it on, the poer light comes on orange and it beeps 2 times. I have removed the battery, the memory and the hard disk and it still does the same thing. How do I reset the bios on this computer?
When your computer starts press f10 to enter the bios ,there you will find the option to reset its setting to default.....

I do not think the computer is finishing POST, I think I may have an invalid config inthe cmos that is preventing it from booting.
Just the screensaver shows and windows won't start. I have tried using cd drive and memory card to wake it up but that hasn't worked.
