The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

Once the pictures are on your computer, you can attach them to email the same way you attach any other file.

I have a sony digital camera want to send pics by e mail to a friend how

Normally to send a digital picture you DOWNLOAD the pics to a computer by cable or digital card...
Some sony cameras have bluetooth download
From there using an email program you can "attach" the pics and send them. (some emails are simply 'drag and drop')
IF you aren't able to transfer / download the pics you can have a service do it for you . (most office stores /and copy centers, shipping stores (fedex etc) and even some pharmacies can do this ) for a fee.

Cannot send Lumix pics online from my PC

How did you download your pics from your camera to the PC? The camera utilises JPEG photos, so there should be no compatibility issues.

Driver Needed for Samsung L200 on Mac

If you use a memory card in your camera, all you need to download your pics is a separate card reader. You don't need a driver and you can drag and drop your pics into a folder you create on your desktop. From there, you can send the pics to iPhoto or anywhere else you prefer.

I didn't receive the instructions in pkg just cardboard saying what was in pkg. I just need to know how to download the card from digital camera to computer. I know how to hook it up I'm just not sure what...

Apart from making the connections, to download the pics directly from your camera you probably need first to install Nikon camera software on your PC and switch the camera on. If you don't have the installation CD you could download the programs from Nikon's website. Otherwise you could just put the memory card into a card reader and connect that to your PC, or you may have a reader built into your PC. Then, if it does not open automatically, you can open the card from its icon in My Computer to copy or drag and drop the images onto your PC.

Hi, callie45

You need to have a scanner first to scan the pics you have to send to your family members be sure to check the specifications of the scanner you are buying, the higher the dpi the better the quality of the pictures.HP scanners provides the most quality.

How do i download pics to the computer

You should have a patch wire cord that connects your camera to to a usb port on you PC. plug it in turn on the camera to view your pics and your PC should have a box pop up asking you how you want to deal with this connection, transfer- pics to PC pics or something like download pic to a folder ...best to use is My Pictures folder on your PC. when you get them they will be big so you will have to compress them from Mbs to Kbs. if you want to send them in an E-mail. and conserve space on your hard drive.

need more help let me know.
