You can either go back to Asus to purchase a new one or try ebay to see if they have the same model. It sounds like your power plug just went bad but that does not mean that you need a new motherboard.

Good luck

Battery is not charging with new adapter

Clean battery terminals with a stiff toothbrush, plus the new battery. If no change! charge circuits need to be checked for output voltage, if okay! new battery is defective, If no! the charge circuits in the motherboard are the issue "very rare"

I replace my ac power supply for my dell laptop inspiron 9100 but when connect the power supply to the laptop it keeps on blinking and the laptop does not power on

If you can , try charging the battery in another system and then try to power the laptop up with the charged battery.
If the unit will run on a charged battery, then there's a problem in the charging circuit, and you'll have to check all the components in that area.
If it doesn't, then there's a problem elsewhere on the motherboard, possibly in the DC/DC converter circuit.
Check for shorted SMT MOSFETs and blown or failing capacitors.
If you aren't tech savvy, this is not an undertaking for the inexperienced, and you may have to have the unit sent out for repair.
Most places don't do component level repair and will simply tell you that you need a new motherboard.
If you cannot find a service depot near you, you may want to consider going to www.supertech-IT.com and arrange to have the unit sent in.

My laptop asus a6km won't start. instead all the lights flashes some time and blink and trn off that's all

Unplug computer first then remove your battery. After removing the battery press and hold down the shutoff button for a full 60 seconds. This should discharge any static electricity in the system. Replace battery then plug back in. Perform these steps in the given order. If this does not work then you will most likely need to have service performed on your system.

I replaced motherboard on nc6400 new battery new charger but still not charging what can be the reason???? the laptop work on AC power Work on the new battery i charged it on other computer????

Because of BIOS. Basic Input/Output System.
Battery has 'lost track', of what the battery state of charge is.

Try Recalibrate BIOS

My Dell latitude d610 charging circuit not working on board

What needs to be done is the jack that your adaptor plugs into has solder points underneath it. All the solder points need to be resoldered to make sure that there are no cracks in the solder that are preventing the jack from charging your battery.

After this is done if the laptop still isn't charging then if you know for sure your using the correct ac adaptor with your laptop then at that point the moterboard would have to be replaced.

Asus A6Km, only powers up for 3 seconds

- check the Fan. sometimes if the Fan is not working or has some obstruction making it to revolve slowly then it powers-off like this.

- if fan is perfect in those 3 mins, then get your power adaptor checked and also the power section of the laptop.

Toshiba Laptop wont work unless plugged in, i recently bought a new battery think that the battery was the problem and still it doesnt work unless its plugged in. please help me!

Go to CONTROL PANEL / POWER OPTIONS / POWER METER. Is the battery charged or charging?

If POWER METER says the battery is charged, you have a motherboard problem. Take it to a tech.

Do you have a voltmeter?

Remove the battery and check for voltage at the laptop's battery contacts, while it is plugged in. No voltage = charging circuit defect. A blown internal fuse or other motherboard problem. Take it to a tech.

Voltage OK or no voltmeter - take it to a tech.

A qualified technician should have a schematic and other technical documentation for your model It can be rather difficult (expensive) and hit-or-miss to locate possible fuses without the factory paperwork.

Good luck.
