How do I get my air hogs mini helicopter to lift off? It just spins on the floor and won't lift up.

My Air Hog Black Ops helicopter blades do not spin. It is charged as lights on helicopter and controller work. I have tried setting controller to all 3 channels with no luck. Any ideas?

check over the helicopter first then hand controller
heli
could be the receiver chip or pick up on the helicopter
motor issue ?
didnt think it was direct drive .might be
have to chase a broken wire connection or other
if cogs or belts are used ..stripped or jammed or other
receiver

My 9116 double horse RC helicopter just spins clockwise in circles, on the ground or in the air. I can hover it, but only spinning. What could be wrong?

Air Hogs remote control aircraft are designed to be easy to fly and use, and rarely have flying issues. However, there are the occasional issues that the company can't really predict. Some Air Hogs helicopters, for example, have a hard time flying forward without some assistance. My green air hog helicopter is spinning on the ground, it won't lift and fly, how do I fix it?

Hi,
There is a problem on the motor gear, check the underside where you could see a big gear that should spin when you try to lift the helicopter. Check both big gears if they rotate/spins.
Usually the problem is the small gear on the motor shaft that is not aligned to that big gear. Check on it and adjust the small gear of the motor.

Hope that copter flies high.

My helicopter has no lift even when fully chargered. The props are spinning but it just stays on the ground.

i got a new model havoc heli and the trim buttons did not help at all... in the end I took a motor/prop off of an air hog styrofoam plane I had that was identical to the havoc heli tail rotor and swapped em out.. Problem solved... there was some sort of error with the tail rotor

replace batteries with new ones and then you let it spin while you trim it out by pushing rotor button ,for heli that spins clockwise push trim button on left side and a heli that spins counter clockwise push trim button on right side continue pushing the corrective button until spining slows and eventually your sons heli will fly straight again these instructions are in the owners manual

Helicopter keeps spinning in circles and won't lift.

There is a "trim button" on the controller. Ex: if the helicopter is spinning left, press the "R" trim button repeatedly. Takes a little practice to get it down to flying with out hitting anything. Good luck.

have you made sure that the helicopter is charged completely?

if so when you try to take off if it spins to the left then hit the r trim on the remote and if it spins to the right then hit the l trim on the controller.

honestly all the instructions do is tell you how to put batteries in the controller.

Help to controll the Havoc Stinger

Practice on a smooth floor inside. Use only a little bit of power and slide and twist the helicopter around the floor without taking off. You will, after a lot of practice, learn to steer the helicopter much better without crashing.

Turn the trimming the opposit way that the your heli is spinning until it stops
