Trying to install printer - DuraLabel Pro 300 At the end of my install get a - unable to add printer 0x0000007e error

Hi,
According to the error message, I assume that the spooler service cannot find out the printer on the network.
You may set the startup type of Printer Spooler service to Manual or Delayed Start for a test.
You could go to Customer support- just dial +1(800)243-0051 Toll Free.

Windows cannot connect to printer. Operation failed with error 0x0000007e.

This problem happens when you are trying to share printer between 32 bit (x86) and 64 bit (x64) Windows. The 32 bit driver not compatible for 64 bit operating system. At this situation you may get error message like this "Windows cannot connect to the printer Operation failed with error 0x0000007e".

But there is an alternate way to add printer from 32 bit Windows to 64 bit Windows.
Start >> Devices and Printers >>
Then Add Printer with the help of IP address of 32 bit Windows computer.

The automatic reappear printer problem its come when you are connect to two and three computer in same network, when the network on the automatic search the printer in network if you install that printer in any other PC so automatic the printer is add in your printer list.

For installing the printer not nee to delete the all printer, put the installation CD in Rom and click the setup.exe

Printer Sharing for 32os and 64os

I am not sure I follow. If you are attempting to share a printer over a home network between computers with different OSes, perhaps you could try this:

If the printer works already with Win7(32bit), go to the Vista computer and try the following:

Go to Control Panel. Choose printer. Then choose Add Printer. Choose Add a local printer. Click on Create a new port. The default in the drop down box is Local Port. Do not change that. Click Next.

A dialogue box will appear asking for you to enter a port name. Type in the \\computer name\printer name

SOLUTION:
At this time, the only way to add the printer from Print2PDF Server Edition to a Windows Vista client machine is as follows:

Share the following folder on the server as print2pdf_files with read access:
%SystemRoot%\system32\spool\drivers\print2pdf\
Run the following batch file on the client (replace servername with the name of your server):

Printer installed fine, won't print. Error code 0x0000007e?????

Maybe you didn't configure the port.

To do this you must go to properties of the printer then try to locate the port output. LPT1, LPT2... the default value is LPT1.

Three things to check:
1. Make sure you have sufficient permissions. If this is an IT managed machine, you may want to have IT do the install.
2. If you're on Vista or Win7 64-bit, make sure you have the latest driver, if one is available.
3. Check the link below for an interesting bug that may cause this issue.

NOTE: You should also know the DuraLabel 300 has an RFID sensor in it that will prevent you from shopping around for supplies. You can get more information on google by searching for "RFID DURALABEL" - there are options out there to upgrade/trade your machine for an unlocked one.
