Curry's Partmaster has a large selection of Panasonic remote controls. However they are not listed under the model numbers of the VCR. Instead they have there own part numbers for example: EUR511244. This remote number might appear on the user manual. If you don't have the manual, the Panasonic website has free PDF's of them.
Chances are then the remote sensor chip is faulty. Follow the circuit from where the sensor input is on the front panel of the vcr. Don't rule out the sensor either.
Try Curry's partmaster. They have 3 ranging in price from £14.99 to 18.99.
You could also get a universal one, these are cheaper, but often don't operate all functions. Remotes are sometimes a lot more expensive than the 3 on Curry's site, think yourself lucky that you didn't pick up one at the boot where the remote alone costs upwards of £60!
I hope this helps. I found this replacement CLICK HERE
If that does not work for you, go to a Radio Shack or Best Buy and locate a universal remote. Ask the sales person to help you find the correct remote for your unit... Good Luck With That!
how is this possible!
both are of different companies.
i know, that now-a days there's a button by which we can control two appliances but being of another company this button will not work.
The link above is Panasonic's support page - just enter in your model Number and your owner's manual will be right there. If we need to dig further - just ask. Thanks Len
