Panasonic Viera My Panasonic Viera TV recently turned to a black screen whilst viewing. Sound still comes through but no image at all - just a black screen. It won't work for my Sky box, my games console or dvd. Any ideas?

The screen is probably adjusting to a particular aspect ratio. Not all images displayed will fill the screen. It is possible to modify the scrren size by using the FORMAT button ob the remote and choosing other aspect ratios or screen formats. Be advised that some of these may cause distortion of the image, so choose the one that provides optimal viewing and best screen coverage.

When you plug in to the aux audio jack, that cuts out the speakers automatically. There is no switch.

try resetting it

make sure your speaker to your sheron sound isnt to close to it .also if dvd player is the source then move away from tv will demagnatize the tv theres a magnet in them

I would diffidently take it to a repair shop and see.If it's a projection screen then that's what it is,a broken mirror.

try unpluging it and leaving it over night then try again and if not the tv might be stuffed

means you prolly have something wrong in the tv with the actual board or chip in your tv. im not fimiliar with your model but i have a panasonic viera and it wouldnt tuen on shortly after and they said i had to send it in for repair

You shouldn't be in the y socket, you should be in the composite socket. Give me the model number and I can identify the proper jack for you.
