Connect the power cable, power on the projector and then press the [Menu] button on the remote control. The configuration menu will be displayed.

Select Reset Lamp Timer from the About menu, and then either press the [Enter] button on the remote control or the [Auto/Enter] button on the projector's control panel.

Select Yes, and then press either the [Enter] button on the remote control or the [Auto/Enter] button on the projector's control panel.

The lamp operating time will then be reset.

Usually the multimedia units use different codes to domestic appliances. I expect you may have to browse ebay for a correct replacement remote.
