A local motor repair shop would have the thru bolts. If you have at least one good one, you could match up the size, and cut soem threaded rod. Most motors this size use either 8-32,10-24,or 10-32 bolts. You can buy threaded rod at hardware store. Try to find galvanized, to prevent corrosion, or paint the part inside the motor if you cannot.

One can find generic motor thru-bolts online fairly inexpensively, typically under $2 per bolt. You just need to know your length & thread, if you do not know the thread just shop by motor brand here.

SOURCE: Removal of Aqua-Flo pump from motor

You will need to pull the front of the pump off then unscrew the impeller. The impeller will be set on the shaft and will take some force to break free. Hold ing the back of the shaft and using water pump pliers on the face of the impeller will usually work but sometimes I will wedge a screwdriver in the fin of the impeller and hit it sharply (not hard) with a hammer to break it free. Then the housing will just pull free of the motor. When replaceing, the impeller just goes on hand tight. Hope this helps and good luck.

SOURCE: I was told that the Aqua Flo Master Xp2 Spa pump

I responded to the previous question in regards to the motor only. The xp2 does not have the strainer basket that the max-e-pro has . If this was a regular hot tub, the xp2 would work great, if this is above ground, then you do need a pump with a strainer basket. Again the xp2 will not work for an inground hot tub as the set up is different than an above ground unit.

Testimonial: "Thank you so much. That helps alot. Do you have any other suggestions for a pump tha might be less expensive then a Max E Pro?"

Is the frame size of the flo master pump the same as the bolt pattern that holds the pump to the motor ?

Frame size is not the same as the motor mount footprint.
If your motor does not have the frame size written on the spec label. You can measure the motor diameter.

I need to purchase a stationery switch for a flowmaster xp2 model 06620390-2

What is the serial number that goes with the motor model number? I am assuming the 06-620390-2 is off the motor; if not please also add the motor brand and model number as well.

How do you replace the rear seal on a aqua flo xp2

You will need to get access to the impeller, then unscrew it counter clockwise. You will have to hold the shaft of the motor to unscrew the impeller. You can gain access to the shaft by popping off a little round cover on the back of the motor, you should see a slot in the motor shaft. Once you get the impeller off, unscrew the thru-bolts. The housing should pull right off. From there you can pop out the seal half that is in the housing and replace it - the other half of the seal is on the impeller. These 2 pieces come with the new seal. When you put the housing seal half back in use some silicone around it. The impeller end just pushes on. Link to Aqua Flo XP2 Diagram

REMOVE WET END FROM MOTOR ON FLO-MASTER XP2

You will need to remove the six bolts/nuts on the wet end to expose the impeller. At the rear of the motor, remove the cap covering the shaft and restrain the shaft and spin the impeller off (counter-clockwise). Check to see if there is a screw in the center of the impeller and remove it by turning clockwise (if applicable). Once the impeller is off, you can remove the four through bolts from the rear of the motor using a 5/16 nut driver and the wet end should come right off.
