A locksmith can fit keys the the sentry safe 1170. Sentry safe lost key replacement is availble. You do need to know the key # that is on the face of the lock to cut a 1170 key by code.

Hi, Afraid to ask, but is it that you need to know how to put batteries in? If so Turn the electronic lock clockwise ( to the right) from the 12 o'clock position to the 2 o'clock position which opens it so you can put in 4 fresh AA batteries replace the assembly by turning it to the left from the 2 o'clock back to the 12 o'clock. enter your combination and check for the green light.
