Just take out its bios battery [back-up lithium battery; disc type]; thus disable the bios memory. The re-insert the battery. All bios settings will be lost, but no data loss will occur. You have to re-set the bios settings, by holding F1 button during startup.

I forgot dell password, i just reset the password by the following steps,
Step1: Download Smartkey Windows Password Recovery Enterprise and install on any available PC.
Step2: Burn Windows password reset CD/DVD or USB to reset lost Windows password.
Step3. Set your locked pc BIOS to boot from CD/DVD-ROM or USB Flash Drive.
Step4. Reset lost Windows password to Re123456 together with the burned CD/DVD or USB Flash Drive.

Locate and download a program called "OPHCRACK"

Insert disc and restart computer:

Set your bios to start from the CD:


Just press F8 or whatever the screen says for the BIOS settings and/or options..
Set the boot option order to CD first rather than second or third.

The program will run and it will start to recover the passwords(s)

You have to open up your laptop notebook by removing all the screws at the back of your computer but make sure you remove the battery and then remove the CMOS battery at the motherboard and return again to reset the BIOS setting and will remove the password.

It is bios password.
Now if you forgot it then you have reset your bios settings.
For that you have to open back cover of laptop.
Then find motherbord pull CMOS cell from motherbord for 10 minutes then put again to it's position.
Then it not ask for password.
