I have a Krystal Clear salt water system and I lost my manual. I am trying to start it up and it just has 88 can you please tell me how to get started.

balance the water with chlorine super shock it once in balance your chlorinator should maintain a chlorine reading if you have a heavy bather load you must shock manually

I am having the same problem I wonder how to tell if my salt water system is working. My ph is good but I still have no chlorine or copper

Is the Setup/Start up Code. it is displayed until you set the timer. which you do so by holding down the down arrow till you hear a beep, then hold down the up arrow till you here a beep. from there you can set the time and then to lock it in repeat the process

First of all you should not have set it to generat chlorine until straight filtering for 24 hours. unplug then plug it back in
88 will appear let your salt disolve by filtering only for the 24 hours then proceed to generate chlorine

It may look disolve but there are many hot spots that need to get distributed eveny

Code 93 means the system is in Stand By (Operation Finished) mode. It will start the next cycle in 24 hours and run for the number of hours you have set, Codes are: 88 Stand By (Start Up) 00 Zero Operating Hours 01 Min Operating Hour or (1 Hour Remaining) 02 thru 12 Operating Hours remaining 90 Alarm Code (Low Water Flow/No Flow) 91 Low Salt Level 92 High Salt Level 93 Stand By Mode (Operating Process Finished)

sounds like air lock
disconnect skimmer ( if you use one) from inside of pool
make sure the tube going from pool to pump has no debris at the motor housing
hair can build up there then trap other debris
no open you bleeder caps till water runs freely
once water is coming out and you do not hear air turn on the pump
let run for a minute then close the caps

I have a 15*48 and used 80 lbs. It said 120, but 80 was fine. To get it started, you hold the down arrow down, it will beep, then the up arrow, it will beep. Then push the up arrow for the number of hours, 3 or 4, then push the down arrow and the up arrow, then wait and it should have a green light that comes on after a minute or two. It has green lights that say low salt and such, so if you need more salt add it gradually.
