SOURCE: Samsung LCD 510N Monitor not optimum mode error

Paiarunk, OK, I was having a mental block for a bit. Your PC will only boot into VGA Mode, I?m assuming if you don?t Windows will crash or something. Exactly what led up to this, have you added a new video card or loaded new drivers? What operating system are you using? Let me know the answers to these questions and any other pertinent information and we?ll start working on this.

SOURCE: how to reset factory settings of samsung sync master710v

Disconnect de power Cord behind the monitor for about 10 minutes. Then reconnect again. If the problem persist you can call the Samsung and talk about your problem. I had the same problem they swap my monitor, because was a fault (if your monitor still in the warranty.

Not optimum mode

It is complaining because your PC video resolution is not set to the monitor native resolution, which is 1280 x 1024 @60Hz. Try setting your PC resolution.

Not optimum mode

This means that your resolution (the amount of pixels) is not the same as your monitor's recommended setting.

The easiest way to fix this is to go into your display settings (right click your desktop and, if XP: Properties->Settings or if Vista/7: Screen Resolution) and drag the slider all the way to the right (XP) or top (Vista/7).

If the highest setting makes your screen go blank for more than 5 seconds, press Esc and try the next setting down. Do this until your monitor correctly displays the highest setting allowed.

Samsung sync master 510 monitor display problem

It may be that the LCD monitor will not display all screen resolutions so you may need to change your resolution to match the desired resolution and refresh rate of the LCD. In your case the computer should be outputting:

1024x768 pixels
60 Hz

You can change these settings by right clicking on the desktop and clicking properties and they're under the settings tab. Change the screen resolution by moving the slider to the recommended setting (1024x768)

and

under the advanced button click the "monitor" tab - make sure the screen refresh rate is set to 60 hertz (60 hz)
