SOURCE: marine sharpshooter 2 will not run on vista home

You can try running the program as administrator and if that doesn't work then the game is not compatible for the OS you are running.

SOURCE: for marine sharpshooter 2 how do i fix the could

Marine Sharpshooter II (PC)

The Bug: Error message "Could Not Initialize the Renderer" means that your video card does not properly support the features required by Marine Sharpshooter II. Specifically, your card does not support Hardware Transform and Lighting functions, often referred to as Hardware T&L. Essentially, it's a portion of the math and setup for the graphics that the video card handles instead of the main CPU.

The Fix: You need at least a nVidia Geforce 2 or ATI Radeon 7200 video card for Marine Sharpshooter II.

I have a LGX11 network for many years, and now I need to add RAM to upgrade from XP to WINDOW7. Can I do that?

Unfortunately, the memory on this particular net book is soldered directly onto the main board instead of the removable type so the RAM is not user upgradeable.

    Install Win XP SP 2

Yes you can, Do I recomend it, no, Why?

Windows easily uses up to 756MB of RAM to run the O/S alone but can run at a minimum of 512MB.

I have personally seen it run on as low as a 900Mhz processor, 256MB of RAM and on a 10 gig hard drive.

If you decide to install windows XP on the specs you describe above please note the following.

    1. System will be very slow and have lengthy start up times.

    2. Applications may crash or take a long time to open.

    3. With all the updates for WinXP you will easily use 8 gigs for installing XP and its updates. Not to mention whatever software you will use/install.

    4. On a system with those low specs, you probably have a low end video card whcih may result in: A. chooppy windows, screen freezing, system crashes and lock ups, low video graphics all around.

I would probably go with windows 2000 instead. If your bent on having XP, at least upgrade the RAM to as much as possible. Then install windows and only install the programs you really need, remove any other junk.

Hope this is of some help to you, good luck

    System Requirements

With your Extensa you should be fine with the video and sound cards, as long as yours meets the 2ghz + 1g RAM, you shouldn't have any problems with the game. If you are, try updating to the latest sound and video drivers. Also, if you're sitting on 1g of RAM now, you might consider bumping it up to 2g. This will help it run smoother and avoid crashing during a gaming session.
