well i dont know what you use for your songs, but this works for my itunes. you can either right click and go to delete or click the delete button. if you have multipule songs you want to delete, get them next to each other and hold down shift untill they are all highlighted and then press the delete button.
well i had this problem and it gave me a really big headache trying unistalling and reinstalling and reseting me zune but nothing worked, So i called up zune support and they gave me a workaround that worked. ill try to explain the best i can since it was a while ago when i fixed that problem. first go into internet explorer and click on tools tab then on the internet options tab and click on the delete option that says temp files, history ect, then click on the delete all option and apply and hit ok. Now go into my computer and click on the orgainze tab and then on the folder and serch option and then on the view tab with in that option. Now check the box that says show hidden files and folders and then uncheck the box that says hide protected operating system files(recommended). and apply and ok then close out everything. Ok then next we go into my computer again and open up your local disk c or what it may be(hard drive). open up program data folder the open up microsoft folder and look for the DRM folder but dont open it. You need to rename that folder to DRMbackup and accept the changes when done.now open up internet explorer gain and go to ZUNE.NET i think you can do it without signing in but you may have to but if it dont work. look for the long rectangular serch box to the right and type in thses numbers 929642 tthen click on the first RED error code link and then an error code page should load up and scroll down to a microsoft link and click onto it and go there and run that update. or try this link http://go.microsoft.com/FWLink?LinkID=34506 then after that close everything out and relog back into zunemarket place and all downloads should work if you followed my instructions. Worked for me. and i was about to put my zune up on ebay and get an Ipod. but glad i called and got a tech support agent that speaked english and knew how to fix the problem, GOOD LUCK
uhm i think i may have found your solution, that is if your using limewire or some client of the sort, i synced my zune while the program (limewire) was on and downloading music and i had the same problelm you did so i simply deleted all my music and put it back on the zune while limewire was off and now it works fine, i have an 80 gig btw if that matters
