If your RPMs are less than 28 in these automatic pool cleaners, you have a problem. Try troubleshooting by doing the following checks. Check the filter screen in the in line filter for debris that would restrict water flow. Clean teh skimmer, filter, and pump baskets. Check the hoses, connections, and swivels for leaks. Remove the blue restrictor disk from the UWF. If you ahve an adjustable valve on your booster pump, try setting in completely open.

Mobility scooter charged and in gear, power going too wheels moving until very slight obstacle then motor carries on but wheels stop turning, bolt in middle of wheels continues to turn but not wheels!

If the wheels are fixed by a keyway, it could possibly be mechanically damaged and the keyway is chewed out/stripped. Take off the wheels and look at the inside shaft hub of the wheels and the axles shaft end for signs of damage. Also check the axle end nuts are torqued up firmly as the problem might be the axle shaft slipping from it being loose.

I purchased 8 new wheels for my Fast Track 2 exercise machine, however I don't know how to remove the old wheels. What tools are required and which way do I turn to loosen them? Thanks!

It’s easy. All screws should be removed by turning counter clockwise. Remove the three screws from the middle panel and move it to one side. Make sure both foot pads are in the middle. Then remove the bolts on the inner wheels first. Once you changed the inner wheels on both foot fads then do the outside wheels then put it back together the same way it came apart

Black and decker 18 inch flip over handle electric lawn mower cat #8019 don't know how to adjust height it is cutting way too low

There is no height lever on this simple mower. To change the height of cut, the wheels themselves must be moved up or down. First, unplug the mower. Turn it over on its side. You'll see that the wheels attach to the frame with simple bolts, and that there are two open holes at each wheel (three holes at different heights altogether, but one of the holes is occupied by the current mounting height of the wheels). Undo each bolt for all four wheels and move them to a new position. Note that the wheel-mounting holes are drilled 5/8-inch apart from each other. If you want to add another hole there is room on the sheet metal to make a new hole for each wheel, and this would put the mower body and blade very high off the ground, if used. You can make that new hole for each wheel with your electric drill. But I think your mower is probably set to the lowest of the three holes, so see first if moving the wheels 5/8-inch higher is better for your lawn, and, if not, then use the 1 1/4-inch higher set of holes on all four wheels. Make sure to move each wheel to the same height hole! Good luck, be safe. --Joe, Tucson, AZ

How do you remove the front disc brakes?

To remove the front disc brakes , you must remove the break caliber assembly . Keep in mind that on some brake calipers a special Torx Drive T40 or T45 must be used to remove the caliber bolts from the spindle assembly . Also , Allen (Hex) bolts are sometimes used . Be sure you have the right tools .
1. Properly block both rear wheels at the front in the back of each wheel.
2. Loosen the lug nuts on both front wheels one turn on each nut.
3.Jack up and support the front of the car on Jack stands with the wheels one to 2in. off the ground.
4. Remove the two bolts on the inside of the caliber the secure it to the spindle .
5.Once the bolts have been removed the caliber should pull straight away from the rotor and spindle assembly .
6.Remove your old brake pads , clean the assembly , properly lubricate the moving parts as necessary , especially the floating sleeve as the assembly is called a floating caliber which means half of the Caliper is bolted to the spindle (inner) but the other half floats (outer).
7.Use a large see clamp centered between the caliper piston and caliper housing to push the piston all the way back into the caliber cylinder by turing (1 turn at a time) the screw until the piston is flush with the caliber face .
8. Install your new brake pads .
9. use the reverse procedure to assemble everything back together. Good luck and be safe....

Tillers rotate put in gear wont move was moving just stopped is their a belt or chain in gear box or transmisson

Hi pat,

Yes, there are two chains in the tranny. If the wheels spin freely but don't engage, the smaller chain is broken.

If the wheels don't move, in gear or not, the smaller chain is broken and wrapped around the gears.

It's a bit of a chore to get to....
