Unlock your cell phone (if necessary). From the main screen select "Menu"; this option should be located on the lower left-hand side of the screen. Scroll to and select "Phone Book." The screen will show different phone book menu options. Select "Management" by either scrolling down to it or punching the #6 button from your keypad. Finally, select "Copy all to" and select SIM card. This saves all of your phone numbers to your SIM card, ensuring that they will not be lost when the factory settings are restored to your cell phone.

Move any pictures, videos, sounds, ring tones and other data that you would like to save to your memory card. For this example we will transfer pictures, but the steps for other items will be the same, with the exception of selecting "camera."

Starting from the home screen, select "Menu" and then "Fun & Apps." Using either the keypad or scrolling function, select "Camera" or #4. The camera menu offers five options; choose #3 or "Photos." Next you will see thumbnails of all of the pictures saved on your cell phone. You can now choose to either send your pictures to your online album or move them to your memory card. If you choose to move them to your memory card, continue with the next steps.

After selecting "Move to memory card", you will have the option to move either the selected picture or multiple pictures. The simplest option is to move multiple pictures at one time by choosing "All" and then "Move."

Complete the factory reset by once again starting at the main screen and choosing "Menu." Scroll to "Settings" (screw driver and wrench icon) and then #4 or "Phone Settings." Choose "Security" (#6) and then scroll to "Reset" (#8). You may be prompted to enter a code at this point, which should be 000000 (six zeros.)

      Hope this helps you :)

I have lost my 'easy' instruction book and have forgotten how to delete photos I no longer need on my camera. Can I obtain a copy of this handy little book somehow. I am not a regular user hance my...

Canon has the documentation available at their site: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/powershot_sd_series/powershot_sd750#BrochuresAndManuals .

To delete photos, first press the Playback (looks like the Play button on most recorders) button. This is above the main menu wheel. Use the left and right arrows to move to other shots (you start at the most recent picture). Then press the button that looks like a picture frame in a trash can. Confirm that Erase is the chosen function and press Func./Set button. Press Cancel to avoid deleting the picture. Please note that there is no equivalent to the Recycle Bin on a computer so you will not be able to recover a deleted picture.

I hope this helps.

Hit the menu button, scroll down to date. Use the large button to the right of the viewfinder to move to the right of date. There you will find the date and time. Use the large button again to scroll to time and set it. Take lots of pictures for Christmas!

I have lost my software for my camera, it's full and I can't figure out.

first, go to http://www.zdnet.com/ or similar shareware site and search and download a freeware photo viewer program. then, connect your camera to the PC by USB cable (the camera most likely has a mini-USB port). then open "My computer" and look for your newly-connected camera that may appear as a drive. double-click the drive to see your pic files. select one and open it with the freeware and print it to HP
