Did you ever get this working? I'm seeing the same error when trying to transfer an audiobook checked out from the Dallas Public Library to my Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone.
It depends what format you downloaded the book and from whom. There are tons of readers ect. Also wma means it must be an audio book. For example mobipocket will let you download books but you need the mobipocket reader to view the books. Others you can't transfer because of copyright ect.
In order to transfer the books to the Reader using the ADE, the ADE should be installed. download the software from http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions . Then, authorize the Reader and the Computer using the ADE. Then, import the file to the library and then drag and drop the book from the library to the Reader.
First download the driver from your player's manufacture's site. It will be under download tab or support tab. Download and install driver, then restart pc
Then turn on device, then plug into pc, then go to my computer, then you should see your device there. Double-click on the device folder. Now you can see and will have access to all folders. You can leave this page up, then go to the page & file that your book is on. click, hold, and then drag this file over to the audio book folder and release the button, it will transfer the book to the mp3 player audio book file. You can also use windows media player 11 and sync your mp3 player to your windows media player and create a playlist or library and transfer them onto mp3 player as well
Hi.
I report a solution from Portable player FAQ, let me know if it works: 1. Delete the title in the Overdrive Media Console program. 2. Then log into the Audiobook site at http://e.hbpl.org and click on My Account, My eItems Checked Out, and click the Download button the website to re-download the book. 3. Transfer the newly downloaded parts to your player.
Those WMA's have a particular DRM-encryption system that the player does not recognize - they have play rights, but no real transfer rights. Convert the files to Mp3 format using Media Monkey and you will be fine.
hi sir.. have u cheched befor whether it is supportable to the wma format.. if it the just try with a mp3or mp4 format .. if it work's.. just verify.. thank's sir
FiXED!
Had the same problem
I fixed it on my e260. The solution: Drag and drop the mp3 file directly into your media player, skip the overdrive 'wizzard', you need to find the folder where the media is stored.
To get rid of that message, you need to connect your Sansa to your computer and open the Rhapsody software to "deauthorize" your Sansa (assuming that you're not going to be using the Rhapsody service).
The following URL gives you two options on how to deauthorize your device (look at the bottom section of the page):
