As of yesterday evening I can't get Facebook up. All I get is an error and a blank screen. I access FB from my Yahoo home page. Last night I brought up the link and got a third party survey thing. So, I got out of the internet and ran Spybot all night. This morning I hit the fix button and then couldn't get on FB. Do I need to restore the cookies? And if so, how?

I experience the same since yesterday and this whatever be the browser (tried with IE8, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Opera and Safari for Win XP). So, my connexion works fine for all other sites and using all piece of software. I've also tried to clear browser cache, cookies and history, it's the same... So what next ?
If after signing in to Yahoo mail you get 'opening page about:blank', this is a screen resolution issue. This problem is not caused by a virus, trojan, spyware or anything like that! Yahoo have been making changes to the appearance of their home page and also their e-mail. As a result, the screen resolution of 800 x 600 on many PCs will no-longer allow you to sign in. Try changing your screen resolution to 1024 x 768
Normally page load error represents, there is busy at serve side or otherwise low web access, but you have fine access, so there is a problem in server side, but you are accessing in iphone, so there is a problem in laptop, that is as like Iphone, there is lack of in-built functions in laptop to retrieve FB. dont worry about it right now!
if you want you can access FB which is integrated with IM such as digsby / Gabtastik / adium! have fine!
