Kawasaki kht 600s blades locked up and wont recipercate

if you have a compressor you can put air underneath them and they will slide off easily if not a spray of window cleaner under them you slide a flat blade screw driver under and spray and move the screw driver around till it slides off ,reason for using window cleaner is it wont affect the grip material and they will still be tight on the other bars cheers

Does it 'BOG' down when attempting to engage blades?

sounds like fuel starvation check for blockages in petrol tap, does it only do it reserve?? the 600s are known for crappy reserve internal filter, check the petrol tank breather

well im asuming you need help with a slipping/moving shift lever, if im right then take it off and lock it in a vice. then take a hack saw and make the gap wider by taking a blades width from in side the clamping area. then drill the threads out of the tighting bolt area so a longer bolt and nut can replace it. the re mount and tighten till tight without crushing anything.

Sounds like a timing chain broke this will cause oil pump not to work New timing chain.

I would try using compressed air first to blow out the lock mechanism and then use something like WD-40 and spray the area and move the lock and spray again, this usually will free up the lock. If not please furnish me the model and brand and I will look at a breakdown and see what I can come up with.

check for the connection og the main wire is cut.. or check the supply..
