I would release all the tension bolts along the cutter and see if it frees off.
You will then have to set the tension carefully after it is free. Lubricate the blade liberally with oil or grease while re assembling it.
If this does not solve the problem it sounds like it may be a gearbox problem.

How to fix a gear shifter machanism for a atv 1994 kawasaki

well im asuming you need help with a slipping/moving shift lever, if im right then take it off and lock it in a vice. then take a hack saw and make the gap wider by taking a blades width from in side the clamping area. then drill the threads out of the tighting bolt area so a longer bolt and nut can replace it. the re mount and tighten till tight without crushing anything.

I have a suzuki bandit 600s and sometimes it wont start like the battery is flat i changed the battery but still sometimes it wont start also the number plate light comes on and off could this be draining...

it would most certainly drain the battery yes there must be a short or something wrong with the switch for this to happen hope this helps regards Jim

Recip wont take blades

I would try using compressed air first to blow out the lock mechanism and then use something like WD-40 and spray the area and move the lock and spray again, this usually will free up the lock. If not please furnish me the model and brand and I will look at a breakdown and see what I can come up with.
