    hi, i have a same problem i dont have any sound come from my laptop only some bibibi when i do some mistak ..... and my laptop coudnot see the sound even when i used my head phone.....plz help me for this

    toshiba satellite A85-S107 The only thing I have found is the system speaker has no driver. Does it need a seperate driver? Have driver for RealTek AC97 & I tried updating driver but it said mine was current altho driver downloaded was newe but it would not load

    have run thru all troubleshooting areas on Microsoft & Toshiba Troubleshooters

    no sound from anything, used to get a very faint sound for awhile

    My laptop does the same thing.
    The sound only works when it wants to. even with all of the driver updates and windows updates.
    This really sucks!

    My laptop has no sound except for when I plug in my headphones, it is the weirdest thing because it was working just last night and unexpectledy shut down. The model number for my laptop is Dell Inspiron 6000.

Hi, I have hp g60-440US, and my sound is not working properly. It goes on and off, but i can access it with my headphone though. I have checked all the device drivers, and they are working all fine. Do anyone have any solution. Please let me know.

No sound on the laptop
If you have windows XP check : control panel / Sound speech and audio devices / Sound and audio devices. Then check that the volume cursor can be moved and that the device is not muted. If this doesnt work remove the sound card from device manager, and install it back using drivers from your recovery disk or download them from Toshiba website.

This is a link to the download site for Toshiba drivers. Select the model of your laptop and click Go to retrieve a list of available drivers. Before doing this, however, you need to be certain of the model number of your laptop. Equium is the make of toshiba desktop computers and A60 is the model number for a Toshiba Satellite laptop. Look on the bottom of your laptop for a label that will have the exact model number you need then select that on the website.
