Garland always fresh donut oven e-8 and e-6 error cooks until 30 seconds left then quits

Rule of thumb cooking time for a joint is 20 mins per pound plus 20 minutes for a standard oven with times reduced by around 30% for a fan oven.

Ovens do vary and it is important for every good cook to "know" their own oven - and the learning process usually includes some culinary disasters...

If it is any help to you, you can get a new controller board complete on ebay for aroung $190. Not much left after that besides elements...

My electric oven, Garland master 200 only reach a maximum of 250* and I only saw 1 of 3 elements turn red

most of them always start on full power..if you want to lower it..time cook, power 10 would be 10% or power 30 would be 30% like this...so time cook, power ,start

The fan runs to circulate the heat inside the oven for more even and faster cooking...That is how a convection oven works :)

I had the same problem with a Wolf L-Series double wall oven (Model DO30) and called for service (under extended warranty contract). The tech told me that the F1 error is a latch problem (you know the one that grabs and locks the door during self-clean cycles). He cleared the error using a series of "secret" button presses on the control panel and the problem cleared. Now, when it happens (which isn't very frequently), I do the same thing he did ... press "0" and "Temperature" for the oven causing the problem and hold them for about 5 seconds. The oven will ding and the display will show some diagnostics, including the error event. Press "Cook Time" and "Stop Time" while in this diagnostic mode to clear the error register, then press "Off". I've also tried to keep the area across the top of the oven opening clean (with a little degreaser), especially around the latch, and I've sprayed a bit of WD-40 into the latch periodically for lubrication and cleaning.

after the gas stove have been on a while a loud whoosh that is a constant thing comes on. I thought it was getting ready to explode. I took seconds after we turned the gas off for the noise to stop. Any ideas what this coud be

Turned off breaker for 30 seconds. Display returned.

press clear for five seconds if that doesn't work then power down for 30 seconds then on if that doesn't work replace the eoc

According to the manual, this is an element relay circuit failure. Call the tech.
