Garland Convection Oven - MCO-NAT Gas Questions & Answers
Fan starts slow or not at all.
This is usually an indication that either the motor capacitor is bad or the start centrifugal switch in the motor is bad or, possibly both. Spinning the motor bypasses the starting process. Capacitor are fairly inexpensive, I'd do that first. If start switch is bad, motor has to be replaced. Not a cheap motor either.

Imperial convection oven LP gas,
Hi
Please check the switch contacts, they may be shorted closed. Check the circuit for any grounds and replace the switch if necessary. For this you'll need to remove the switch and also need to check for the wiring from ignition switch to the burners. Please tell me the model number of your imperial range so that i can assist you better.
Also check the Gas valve/connector whether its firmly held. Also tell me if it clicks after the gas is lighted.
Please see this link for spark module diagram--

Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance.
Thanks
Rylee

My oven went bizerk. it
Hi
The problem is in one of the door switches, "it is defective" this is a highly dangerous situation and should be checked immediately, the oven should unplugged until a appliance repairman looks at it.
Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.

Sometimes works sometimes not
I'm not familiar with this unit, but if it has a thermocouple, replace it. The thermocouple is the sparkler looking metal rod that gets heated by the pilot light. When they go bad, they partially work, but have to be good to allow the gas valve to open. That's their job- open with a flame, close without one. Good luck, and hope this helps.

Parts list for garland p286
https://www.heritageparts.com/manuals/garland/P286#
Go to this site and choose your manual from the list on the left hand side. It covers several models including yours. Also, places like PartsTown, Heritage, Restaurant Parts and More, are pretty good at helping with part selection. Especially RPM if you talk to Bryan or Matt. They are both very knowledgeable with this Model.
