Looking for drive handles red plastic for self propel assembly:430971 21 sears walk behind mower 017.370920. Parts list just gives complete assembly with housing, cable, etc.

Since this is a Craftsman product - the most extensive parts and other assistance is basically limited to Sears (and maybe their parent company, K-Mart). Contacting them may provide additional part info as they may have found this part was a high failure item and have begun to sell it separately (since the parts list was published.

Good luck!

Video of, How to assemble a Asus desktop.

Why Asus?

It's going to be an Asus motherboard. The rest of the parts will not be Asus.

If you bought a desktop computer that is a barebones unit, the number after the Asus name, is the motherboard Model Number.

Example:
Asus M4A785-M Ultra Barebone Kit.
The motherboard is an Asus M4A785-M

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6046490&CatId=31

Asus didn't make the computer, just the motherboard.

Information you need is how to assemble any desktop computer, and transfer this information to your computer build.

1) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIaNP2eWWuI&feature=related

Also click on the other related videos to the right, under Suggestions.

2) http://www.squidoo.com/how-to-assemble-a-computer

Scroll down to the heading -
Table of Contents - How to Assemble a Computer,
and click on the links in order.

Now, tell me what Model Number of Asus motherboard you have, or what Asus barebones kit.

I'll guide you step by step.

1) Right off the bat!
Suggest you buy, and wear an ESD wrist strap.
(Electro Static Discharge)
Average cost is about $6 to $8.

Connect the alligator clip of the ESD wrist strap, to the metal frame of the open computer case.

You don't want to Static shock any of your computer parts!
A Processor is the most susceptible computer hardware part, to Static shock.

[Static will fry out (Short Circuit) the hardware components of a computer. You may not even see it, or feel it ]

2) Work on a table.
Do Not remove any parts from their protective Anti-Static bags, until you are wearing the ESD wrist strap, and it is connected to the metal frame of the open computer case.

3) IMPERATIVE!
Make SURE you have Thermal Paste.
Thermal paste is put in-between the top of the Processor's case, and the bottom of the Heatsink.

Helps to transfer heat from the Processor to the Heatsink.
There is a Correct method, and an in-correct method of applying thermal paste.
(Thermal paste is also known as thermal grease)

4) Make sure the parts you have are compatible with each other.
If you bought a barebones kit, the parts that come with it are compatible.

If there are parts you still need to buy to complete this computer system, they have to be compatible with the parts that have been already provided.

I just bought a computer but all of the parts are disassembled and in a ziplock bag... how can I figure out what goes where?

Please check if there's Product / Operations Manual included in the ziplock bag, which you will use as your guide / reference in assembling the unit. Best regards

I don't know the memory capacity for my computer

The Dimension 2400 will hold a total of 2GB DDR Ram (2 x 1GB Dimms)
I don't sell RAM, but I do work on a lot of Dell's where I work.

Motherboard / Service Tag: to find out the service tag, when it's not printed anywhere on the box:  Restart or power on the PC.  When the pc is going thru POST, press the F2 key a few times, so the pc will boot into the BIOS.  Depending on the age of the BIOS, the serivce tag should be displayed on the first page.  If you can find the service tag, you can look up the original configuration on the Dell website.
Hope this helps
