Ring alert on headset not working on Avaya AWH55

Go into the phone settings and see if you can change the ring number.

Everything I have read on the voice mail problem refers to resetting that feature on the phone (the headset is just an innocent bystander). If you don't have the manual, you can contact Avaya for assistance.

Under the options button. There should be an "Audible alert" option...

Only if you have an HL-10 lifter installed... you will then be able to hear three short beeps in your ear to indicate the phone is ringing.

The Voyager 510 is not a good fit for that phone. I would prefer the cs55 or awh55.

The headset will work with the phone, but will not alert you when there is a call.

CS60 from Plantronics. A bit expensive but perfect

What equipment do you have? You might need an adaptor.

Generally you will get a ring in the headset when a call is detected by the lifter that you use or if you don't have a lifter then you would have to use the little microphone that comes with the unit and affix that to the speaker on your phone so that your GN 9120 knows when to alert you of a call.
