I have a Avaya 2410 corded phone connected to a plantronics cordless receiver. When someone calls me it rings once and stops, and the call immediately goes to my voice mail. This is something that just started to happen a few days ago. I've been using this setup for months.

Unable to receive calls. Can call out. When call from another phone it says party is not available. If you wait it tells you your call is being transferred. Then I can pick up & answer.

It sounds like someone has set up call forwarding to your phone.

Our phones are avaya 2410 phones, I moved one user from one office to another, how can I have that users original extension follow to the new office.

You need to go into programming and move the 2 extensions in Manager.
Once moved in Manager, at each phone dial *36 to force the change.

We have one incoming line that we don't want to ring. How do we program the Avaya System to stop ringing when a call comes in on that line?

At ext 10 or 11
press feature 00
LEFT intercom
LEFT intercom
Right intercom
enter extension number to change ringing on
the line buttons will light up if you touch the line it will change the flashing and the ring style.

Once done, press feature 00

Repeat for all phones.

You have the button wrong. If DND is on, the phone will not ring.

I cannot hear phone ring on avaya awh75n headset hooked up to avaya 2410 phone, even with ring detector connected.

Is the phones ringer turned up? It needs to be loud enough to make the ring detector ring.....

Try hitting the speaker button and intercom your boss. When you hit the speaker button to hang up, do you get the same thing? If not. It could be that the gray "clicker" switch that pushes down when you put the handset back isnt going all the way back down...

Everything I have read on the voice mail problem refers to resetting that feature on the phone (the headset is just an innocent bystander). If you don't have the manual, you can contact Avaya for assistance.
