Hi, if you love and want to know the price and buy an iphone 2g, you will have to go online eBay.com or Amazon.com and type what your looking for i think you can get the price from there.
You can also go to an iphone store around your area for help on how to get iphone 2g...
In fixya we don't sell iphone 2g,will help you by giving you steps to fix up your iphone 2g and other appliances..
Do you mean a replacement glass to put on your 1st gen iPhone? It can get a bit confusing with the 'Generation' labelling, as 2G in fact refers to 1st Generation iPhones (any prior to the 3G, hence 2G - it relates to the data connection protocol more than the hardware version).
So, with that in mind - am I correct in assuming that you have seen a 2G screen for sale?
If so then yes it will work on your 1st Gen (2G) iPhone. I haven't compared the 2G/3G screens that closely, but I do know some of the sensors are located in a slightly different position on the 3G which may in itself be an issue.
Let me know if you want me to further investigate and I'll help if I can!
Simple get on a pc go to apple.com download iTunes the latest version... Open the app on your pc... Connect your USB cable and to your iPhone ... iTunes will detect it then it'll ask if you want to upgrade to firmware 3.0 then upgrade ..
Find somebody with an AT&T sim card, put it into the phone and plug it into itunes to get it up an running. Otherwise if your not using AT&T you're gonna have to jailbreak the phone to use it. If your a prepaid AT&T customer, you can activate it but you gotta call AT&T at 800 331 0500
